3. Comrade Sandra came from Registro, in São Paulo's Ribeira Valley, to bring words of solidarity to Lula and the activists at the Vigil on this Sunday, February 24, the day which marked 324 days of political imprisonment for the ex-President. In an emotional speech, the activists remembered Lula's visit to her region. “I have arrived from the Ribeira Valley, which has an important significance for the struggles in our country. President Lula traveled there with his Citizenship Caravan. And he learned about our reality and said, 'this region needs a university and a technical school to transform from being one of the poorest areas in the nation. And today, thanks to Lula, the region has a Federal Education Institute, the road through the valley was widened, and there were other advances. We have to stay strong in our resistance until we free President Lula,” she said. Watch video here:  https://www.facebook.com/vigilialulalivre/videos/338012303482865/
